A row consists of solar panels placed directly next to each other with no gaps. A single panel by itself still counts as one row.
For ground mount systems, each row must have an even number of panels. A row is defined by a double row of panels.
Example if you are installing a 20 panel system, 10 under and 10 over its still defined as 1 row 20 panels
